Overview

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals is looking for cooks to provide nourishing food to residents, guests and employees at our hospital in Mishawaka. Our team of cooks will work closely with the dietary team to provide outstanding service to residents, colleagues, family members, and visitors. Our cooks are instrumental to the success of our dietary team and our patient's recovery and well-being while in treatment with our hospital.

Responsibilities

The Cook duties include:

  • Following the Diets set forth by the company Dietitian
  • Preparing and providing nourishing food to residents, guests and employees
  • Maintaining sanitary conditions as directed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service to our patients, colleagues, visitors, and staff. 

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required
  • Experience: We would love someone with at least (1) year of experience as a cook in a healthcare or hospitality setting. 
  • Must be able to maintain a high attention to cleanliness and sanitation
  • Demonstrate significant customer service skills
