Overview

Phoenix Medical Psychiatric Hospital is looking for passionate, detailed oriented, and professional Nurse Assistants who understand the importance of patient care! Our nurse assistants our part of a disciplined professal team that works efficiently in this sometimes fast-paced environment.  The nursing assistant will help maintain quality patient care that complies to hospital policy and procedure at all times.

We have day and night shift available

Responsibilities

The Nurse Assistant will:

  • Assist patient’s in performing daily activities and ADL's per the plan of care and as directed by the Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
  • Perform basic patient care within their scope of practice. Maintain an orderly environment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree or some college preferred. 

Experience:  One (1) year of experience in a behavioral health setting in direct care preferred. This is a great role for experienced behavioral health professionals and those that are looking to start a new, rewarding career in behavioral health!INDEEDHIGH
